What is the age limit?

18+ with photo ID.

What is the weight limit for Skydive School?

The weight limit for Skydive School is 210 lbs. Our weight limit for tandem skydivers is slightly higher due to the rigs and canopies used.

Do I need to do a tandem skydive?

Yes, you need to complete one tandem skydive before taking ground school. Your first tandem does not need to be completed at Skydive Utah, but your training tandem does.

How much does it cost?

The total cost from zero experience to USPA A-License is $3,920 without discounts. If you are able to use all of the discounts the cost is $3,185. Check out the price breakdown and discounts here.

What should I bring to Ground School? How long does the class take?

Bring food and water for the day as well as a notebook and writing utensil. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear. You will be in a classroom setting and outside. The class is typically 6 hours. We plan for you to complete your training tandem after class if possible.

What if there is bad weather?

Ground School is held even if we are are closed for jumping.

I can’t make any of the scheduled Ground School classes, do you offer them other days?

Skydive Utah offers private ground school classes for up to 6 people at one time. The cost is $600 to schedule the class for 1-6 people. The price is the total price, not per person.
