We are here to take you on your first tandem, and if you get hooked, we have a full school to teach you to go solo! We work hard to provide excellent customer service, safety, and top-tier media packages on top of the amazing experience of skydiving.

Our plane vs other skydiving centers

Many skydive centers use a Cessna 182. This is a small plane that packs 4 people onto the floor behind the pilot. They usually take 20-30 minutes to climb to 8,500 ft above the ground. Don’t settle for a cramped flight and shortened skydive! Climb comfortably to 12,000ft with us to get the full experience.

LOCATION

We are the closest skydiving center to Salt Lake City. Located 25 miles west of downtown SLC, it is an easy 35-minute drive with gorgeous views of the Great Salt Lake along the way. At just over an hour away from Ogden, Park City, and Provo, Skydive Utah is easy to get to no matter what direction you’re coming from.

SCENERY

Our views make your skydive unforgettable. With incredible views of the Great Salt Lake, Tooele and Salt Lake Valleys, and the surrounding mountains, your plane ride and skydive are truly breathtaking! You’ll see the Wasatch, Oquirrh, and Stansbury Mountain ranges as well as a peek into the Salt Lake Valley from 12,000ft above the ground.

STAFF

Our goal is that you have a great time at Skydive Utah from the moment you walk in. As the largest skydiving center in Utah, we are able to hire the best instructors and staff to make sure you have a fun and safe time with us. We are all here to help make your skydive awesome! All of our staff have different interests within skydiving and canopy sports - ask questions about anything you’re interested in!

SAFETY

Our safety record is unmatched. We have never had a tandem fatality at Skydive Utah. We have been operating for over 30 years. This is no coincidence. We take safety very seriously. Our airplane is meticulously maintained to top-notch condition. Our gear is tested and checked often to ensure reliability. We only employ the most qualified instructors and hold them to very high standards. Finally, we watch the weather very closely. Our experience has taught us what to look for and how to read the conditions in our valley. We will only jump with you if we feel the weather is safe.

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS & VIDEOS

We offer 3 media packages so that you can share and re-live your skydive over and over! All media packages are professionally edited and emailed to you same-day. If you get the Pro or Deluxe package, you’ll get your own personal videographer who jumps out next to you - you won’t believe what our videographers can do in the sky!
