Once you are graduated from AFF, you are allowed to jump completely solo! However, you still have some things to work on.
You are currently on "Student Status" which means you have some restrictions, including:
- You must jump solo, unless it is with an instructor, coach, or D license holder
- You cannot jump in winds higher than 14mph
- You must wear a helmet and jumpsuit
You will be given a USPA A License Proficiency Card. You will need to check off all the tasks on this card in order to earn your A license, which is the first of 4 skydiving licenses. Once you get your A license, you will officially be sent out into the world of licensed skydivers. This is when you can start to jump with all other licensed jumpers and continue to learn all the fun aspects of this great sport.
There are many different disciplines including RW, freefly, wingsuit, CREW, swooping, XRW, and more! You will learn all about these as you progress and find what paths you want to pursue.
