Wingsuits are very popular
at Skydive Utah, and we enjoy seeing them on the dropzone.
However, wingsuits also carry a particular responsibility
for jumprun.
Prior to boarding the
aircraft wearing a wingsuit:
~Notify Manifest of your intention to jump a wingsuit
~Notify the pilot of your intention to jump wearing a
wingsuit so that he might notify others that you are in
the area, and modify his descent.
~Declare a "Wingsuit-Left" or "Wingsuit-Right" pattern
prior to exiting the aircraft so that the pilot and
tandems may know where you'll be flying. If more than one
wingsuit stick is exiting, each group should declare
different directions.
You may not buzz
tandems! Fly away from jump run and away from areas where
groups or individuals may be deploying canopies.
Below are diagrams showing
both Wingsuit Left/Right flight patterns, defined by
direction of jump-run.

| Wingsuit-LEFT pattern. When exiting
the aircraft, you will fly to the left perpendicular to jumprun,
regardless of whether jumprun is north or south bound. Allow for at
least 10 seconds of flight towards the mountains before turning, in
order to avoid canopy or other freefall traffic.
