So you've enjoyed your first tandem jump, and now you're ready for your second tandem skydive. The second tandem jump is more involved than the first tandem jump if you'd like it to be, and is a great precursor to an Accelerated Free Fall program if you're interested in moving forward into becoming a solo skydiver.
On this page, you'll learn what you'll be doing differently in this second tandem skydive.

Tandem Skydive 2 -

The most important part of any skydive is to PULL!

BELLY BUTTON: leave the airplane belly button first (with head back).

BREATHE: feel yourself take in a breath through your teeth.  As you exhale, RELAX!

BANANA: For the rest of the free fall, pinch your shoulder blades together, point your

toes and push your feet up into the direction of the sky.  Your knees should

be 1 soda can apart (end-wise).

Tandem Master Signals

1) Tap on your knees = be more of a banana.

2) OK signal = Check your altimeter, breathe, banana (repeated several times).

3) Point = PULL

Recognize that a good parachute can be steered in a straight line.

Verify straight flight by steering the parachute towards a point on the horizon.

Find and interpret the windsock and recognize that the parachute is landed into

the wind.
