The AFF
Program: |

The complete
course is a seven jump program. The first two jumps are tandem jumps (a
parachute built for two). These are followed by a detailed ground school,
building on the the first two jumps. Following completion of the ground
school, the student has five free fall jumps remaining in the program. These
are under the accompanying direction of a free fall jumpmaster, one on one.
At this stage the person is off student status and exits the airplane on
jump number eight completely on their own. The cost of the course is by the
jump and it is pay as you go. The first jump price is $175 and is an
introduction to free fall. Should the individual decide this is something
he/she would like to investigate further, arrangements are made for
subsequent jumps.
We offer the individual student state of
the art gear, and a drop zone owner with more than 9,500 jumps over 36 years
in the sport. Skydive Utah is one of the first drop zones in the country to
drug test all of it's staff. This includes the pilots, the parachute
packers, the manifest personnel, and of course the jump masters. The scenery
is beyond compare. From altitude one can see the Great Salt Lake (we are
less than five miles from it's shore) and three mountain ranges. Motels are
close and one can camp on the drop zone itself.
